I have done nothing wrong to you
So why do you mark me as the enemy
You make it seem like no one matters but you
That the youth can’t have a mind of their own

What do you see that’s so bad about me
I tried to answer every question, I’ve tried to comply
Yet you want me to lose everything
Just because you hold something against me

Please, tell me what it is you hate
The simple fact that I live somewhere else
The concrete ideas no one is right but you
Or do you even have a reason other than, “just because”

How long will you play this game
Trying to prove to yourself
You’re the only one who’s right
Pointing your finger, not holding out your hands

Why won’t you just accept me
Instead of eternally condemning and discriminating
You don’t even know anything about me
Yet you insist I’m an opposition to you
